Five Types of Wedding Invitation Embellishments

So you have the perfect invitation style, and you've found a printing style that fits your budget and style.  Time to stop right?  Wrongo.  You've just decided upon the tip of the iceburg when it comes to possibilities with your invite.

When it comes to wedding, who can resist from adding a little bling or flair to their lives?  Your invitation is the first thing that your guests will see, and it can give them a really good hint as to what they may be instore for when they arrive to celebrate your special day.  A little extra embellishment can be a fun an inexpensive way to take that 2D hint and make it into a 3D piece of art.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to adding embellishments or additional decor, and today I've selected five favorites for your consideration...

Feathers - whimsical and romantic

Keys - a unique and nostalgic twist to surprise your guests

Twine - make your invitation interactive as your guests have to unwrap the information

Ribbon - always a favorite with a classic look and feel

Lace - frilly and feminine, a lace emblishment might give a hint to what the bride may wear...

But don't stop there...what else could be tied, glued, and twisted around your wedding invitation to make it stand out from all the others??
