Now that we’ve announced our prize winners, I’d like to take a little time to talk about the Susan G. Komen Foundation here in the Quad Cities. They have been hit hard by our recent economic troubles. But due to YOUR ticket purchases at our annual show this year, we were able to raise $3215.00 for the cure! That’s almost $1400.00 more than we raised last year! And it’s all because of our brides and vendors making this year’s show a HUGE success! We couldn’t have done it without you guys! We’ll be giving the check to our local chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation shortly and we’ll have some snazzy pictures to show you too! Here is a sneak preview of the check!

I’d also like to take a moment to thank all of the people working behind the scenes with qcweddings.com to make this year’s show such a resounding success!

  • Donna: Thank you for putting up with us all (and for having the forethought to request a bar for the show)!
  • The Isle: Thanks for the great location and being so easy to work with. Your staff was excellent!
  • Event Management Unlimited: Patrick, you worked hard to make us shine. You and your crew were great!
  • Jenny and Gabriela: You guys put up with the hordes trying to crash down the door, thank you so much for your patience and your work.
  • Steve: Thanks for working your mojo and making the registration process much much easier than it would normally be.
  • VIP Transportation: Your offer to shuttle people was most gracious!
  • Clazzy Designs: We had awesome stuff for our table, thanks to you!
  • Master DJ: For announcing our prizes and being a swell guy!
  • MI Studios: For shooting the event and putting together a video (I can't wait to see this, they do awesome work!)
  • Bev and Dave: The show wouldn’t exist without you guys, thanks for everything!

I know there are more people I should be putting in here, but if I forgotten anyone then please, blame my terrible memory and write me an email to let me know so I can amend the error post haste. We’ll be sure to see you all at the show next year!
