It's Monday! The first day of the work week! And according to a radio blurb that I heard while driving to work today, it's also a great day to start a new habit or to start working towards a new goal. So here's a something to start today:
We all want to look our best on our wedding day, right? On the big day, we will have tons of people looking at us (occupational hazard of the bride or groom), and there will most likely be hundreds of photos that will be saved and cherished for decades. So it's no wonder that many brides and grooms-to-be hope to tone up just a smidge or two before the big day.
If you're like me and clueless as to where to start, head on over to this article posted on the Junebug wedding blog that leads you through numerous simple exercises that will help you to tone up your arms, shoulders, and back. It even clues you in to specific exercises for strapless, halter, and asymetrical gowns. (Grooms you can just jump on in, even if you don't plan on having a halter neckline.)
And, if you're fresh out of hand weights, just grab a couple of cans of peaches from your pantry!
If you fly through that upper body workout, here is a 6-month fitness regimine provided to you by InStyle Weddings.
Many of us need some external forces to help us get moving. Does that describe you? Head on over to the Personal Advantage Fitness Training website and check out what David Bayles can help you to do! He's located in Bettendorf and will completely customize a workout just for YOU! How great would that be to give each other personal training sessions as a pre-wedding present. You will both love the results!
What other fitness-esque routines are you using to tone up and look your best on your wedding day? Let us know! We want to be inspired!
