Tips for Navigating a Bridal Show!

The Davenport Jaycees Bridal Expo is....TOMORROW!  If you haven't already heard, let me tell you all about it!  It is arguably the biggest bridal show in our area all year, and over a hundred vendors will be there.  There will be demonstrations, displays, contests, give aways, and the most important part - cake samples!  You'll have the opportunity to speak directly with all your must have vendors who will be able to discuss details and even book you on the spot if needed.  A big bridal show can be overwhelming, so we wanted to give you some tips to have the best opportunity possible.

1.  Bring your entourage.  Between collecting information and juggling all the give aways, you'll need someone to help you carry your SWAG.  You may want to bring your own bag as sometimes the show will run out.  Not to mention this event is super fun and a great way to get the moms together or to include all your bridesmaid in on your planning.

2.  Bring your appetite.  Desserts, appetizers, and drinks - OH MY!  There will be a plethora of sampling to be done, and in addition there is a cash bar for those who need to punch it up a bit.

3.  Bring your boots.  That were made for walking, that is.  The River Center is HUGE, and there are lots and lots of things to see both inside the large rooms and out in the cooridor!  You may have to wait here and there to speak with a popular vendor or to get to the front of the line for the prize sign ups, so wear comfortable shoes!

4.  Bring your camera.  You will be wowed by all the displays and decors that will be whipped together by the amazing businesses and artisans present for the show.  You will want to take pics of some great ideas that you find inspiring.

5.  Bring your info.  This is the most important piece of advice!  Please make sure you stop by the QCWeddings.com booth to sign up for your FREE information labels.  You'll enter your info, and we'll give you a sheet of 30 labels that you can use for speedy sign up for prizes and information from your favorite vendors.  Be sure to visit us when you first arrive!  Your wrists will thank you later when your hands aren't tired from writing your information a thousand times!
